Our Story

NickScacchetti was built from the belief that clothing could carry something deeper.

Before it became woven artwear, before the religious pieces, before the cut and sew hoodies, the idea started in 2016 with my first brand, WaifProjects. That brand was centered around mental health and the feeling of not wanting people to feel alone in what they were going through.

At the time, I did not know exactly where it would lead, but I knew I wanted to create clothing that meant something. Something people could wear as a reminder. Something that could speak for them when they did not always know how to say what they were feeling.

In 2020, that idea evolved into woven tapestry hoodies. The early pieces were inspired by music, movies, culture, and the visuals that shaped me growing up. It was the first time I felt like I was turning clothing into something more physical, more detailed, and more permanent. The artwork was not just printed on a blank, it became part of the garment itself.

Over time, the brand kept growing with me.

In 2025, I stepped away from the music and movie inspired pieces and started creating from a more personal place. I began focusing on my religious beliefs, the art I have always loved, and the kind of pieces I wanted to leave behind. Pieces that felt timeless. Pieces that could remind someone of their faith, their story, or something they never wanted to lose.

This is now my fullest definition of artwear. Every piece is built to feel bigger than clothing. A reminder of belief. A conversation starter. A way to connect people through faith, art, emotion, and story. The goal is not to make something that feels temporary, it is to create pieces that feel personal enough to keep forever.

My mission is to become the best woven artwear brand in the world, not by chasing trends, but by creating timeless woven pieces with real meaning behind them.

This brand started with the idea of making people feel less alone.

Today, that idea still lives in every piece.
